Maternity Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maternity Nurse to join our team at Providence Seaside Hospital. As a Maternity Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to new mothers and their babies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest maternity care practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • One (1) year Nursing experience.
