Job Opportunity:

Brevard Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in students.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support for students.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution.
• Eligibility for certification from the Florida Department of Education in Speech-Language Impaired and/or licensure from the Florida Department of Health in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Non-Master's degree personnel must be enrolled in Graduate-level coursework prior to expiration of temporary DOE certification.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
