We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
This is a part-time role, working onsite with our client in Scotts Valley. You will be responsible for examining patients, compiling medical data, and administering diagnostic tests. You will also be expected to instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related health field, licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction, and graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university. Board Certification and Occupational Medicine experience are preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
Responsibilities:
- Examines patients, compiles patient medical data, and administers or orders diagnostic tests
- Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal
- Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance
- Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related health field
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
- Board Certification
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred
