Flexographic Press Specialist

Imprimus Labels and Packaging is a leading manufacturer of high-quality labels and packaging solutions. We are seeking a skilled Flexographic Press Operator to join our team in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent flexographic skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating flexographic color label presses, ensuring high-quality products and meeting customer deadlines.

• Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, and dies are available and used as specified.
• Set up machine; install anilox, inks, correct stock, die, and plates.
• Set impressions and registers print-to-print and print-to-die.
• Load the specified type of paper and add ink.
• Adjust the press to the paper size and feeds the paper through the press cylinders.
• Complete all start-up checks and get start approval.
• Perform general maintenance to the press.
• Follow 6S guidelines assigned to the work area and surrounding areas.

• High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
• At least three years of relevant experience in label press operation in a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment and must wear foot and other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. May continuously stand for an extended period and stoop and kneel frequently. May handle, feel, and reach for items in and around the press area and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting to 50 lbs. may be required. Vision: close vision, distance, and color vision to distinguish color variations, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud. Must be able to work overtime as required by workload and customer-mandated deadlines.
