Position Summary
The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of baked goods and menu items in accordance with Quest standards. This role involves following a detailed preparation list to ensure all items are ready for service and assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen. Responsibilities may include bulk baking, catering preparations, receiving deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cold dishes, salads, and grab-and-go items according to established recipes.
- Serve food on the hot line while ensuring a professional and consistent presentation.
- Adhere to all HACCP and food safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Receive and organize all kitchen deliveries efficiently.
