About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Salt Lake City, UT. As an Assembler 2, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, working with advanced equipment to build circuit cards and contributing to the production of high-quality electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts and use hand tools to assemble components.
  • Operate advanced equipment to build circuit cards and ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Conduct quality inspections on the processing line and notify team leaders or supervisors of any problems that may cause delays or quality defects.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
  • May work with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials, and other commonly used chemicals in manufacturing.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and good attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting and with electronics.
  • Current Solder J-STD or IPC solder certificate.
