Piedmont is seeking a skilled Wound Care Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic wounds, ostomy management, and education.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary staff to provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy
- Two years of clinical experience in wound/ostomy care and management
- BLS certification through AHA and current licensure in the State of Georgia
- Minimum Bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN)
- Experience working in research, analysis of data, and editing collateral
