About the Role

BKF Engineers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our site development and design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Assist Project Managers in preparing current project status for informing clients on progress and internal reporting.
  • Design Team Management: Lead the plan preparation and design process, supervise/coordinate and mentor the team of engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
  • Quality Control: Lead the quality control effort on your projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge of site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required.
  • Professional Engineering license in the State of California is required.
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery is required.
