Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As an MRI Technician, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and patient areas
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest MRI technology and techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited MRI program
  • Four years of experience in MRI or a related field
  • ARRT certification in MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
