About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Jenkins Ford Lincoln of Crystal River. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles, as well as conducting pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order upon delivery to the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other major components
  • Maintain leading-edge knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology and digital manuals
  • Perform routine service inspections, test, and lubricate engines and other major components
  • Repair automobiles and light trucks that run on diesel fuel
  • Adapt to rapidly changing technologies in the automotive industry
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements
  • ASE certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
  • Minimum of one year of dealer-level or large facility experience
  • Post-secondary automotive training
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug test and background checks
