At Select Specialty Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care.
This role involves evaluating patient needs and recommending appropriate treatment plans, providing respiratory care to patients with complex medical conditions, and promoting continuous quality improvement.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions
- Insert and remove endotracheal tubes as needed
- Promote continuous quality improvement and patient safety
- Teach and counsel patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of patient needs and be passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
- Must possess Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent
- Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- Current state licensure is required
- ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
The estimated salary for this position is $35 - $45 per hour, depending on location and experience.
