Job Summary

The PC Systems Analyst 2 (PCSA2) is a key member of the IT team, responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for end-user environments, including personal computers, Macs, PDAs, and peripherals. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software products, including internet and network connectivity for PCs, Macs, PDAs, and peripherals.
  • Provide Direct User Support: Offer telephone, face-to-face, and online support to customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their technical issues.
  • Evaluate User Business Needs: Analyze customer procedures, organize departmental resources, and lead the design, development, and implementation of effective solutions to meet their needs.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the team leadership.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of related field experience, or
  • An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 3 years of related field experience, or
  • A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent from a State or Federal accrediting organization and 5 years of related field experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will need to possess:

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and internet/network connectivity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to analyze a problem and define/implement the solution to the problem.
  • Ability to manage time wisely and in an organized manner to best complete a given set of tasks.
  • Proven ability to develop an effective, collaborative working relationship with a variety of representative groups.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers to obtain all required information necessary to determine and address their specific needs.
