- Use first-class customer service skills to confirm applicant knowledge of NC Motor Vehicle laws, identification of road signs, and observation of driving skills
- Serve as a public advisor, identifying potential health concerns with drivers and advising customers of available adjunct service programs
- Graduation from high school and possession of a valid North Carolina Driver License
- Ability to meet federal medical requirements and qualify/retain a Commercial Driver License
- No suspensions or revocations within the last 10 years on your driver license
- No more than 5 active points on your driver license
- Experience explaining policy, procedure, and/or laws to educate customers or the public
- Customer service experience with a diverse clientele
- Knowledge of basic computer software, including database programs and Microsoft Office applications
