Dermatology Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Assistant to join our team at Preferred Dermatology Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced dermatology practice, providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical staff.
Responsibilities- Room patients, prepare them for procedures, and assist with biopsies and other dermatological treatments.
- Utilize electronic health records to chart patient visits and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure rooms are stocked, cleaned, and organized, and that instruments are properly sterilized.
- Take patient phone calls, process prescriptions, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working as a Medical Assistant in a dermatology setting.
- Proficiency in using EMA/Modernizing Medicine software.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Friendly, professional, and personable demeanor.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Flexible scheduling, including occasional Saturdays.
