LPN Nurse Med-Surg Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Med-Surg Night Shift team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.
About the RoleIn this LPN position, you will provide direct patient care as directed by physicians or RNs, prioritizing patient needs and safety at all times. Your responsibilities may include assisting with procedures, monitoring, and other functions assigned by your superiors. You will also document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in the medical record.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services.
- Collaborate with RNs and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive care consistent with the scope and standards of the specialty.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
To qualify for this LPN position, you must:
- Be currently licensed as a vocational nurse or practical nurse in the state of Florida.
- Possess current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Have IV Certification from a state-approved course.
- Have previous experience in an acute care setting, though not required.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
