Position Overview
Clear Sight Partners is seeking a skilled Vision Care Technician to enhance our dedicated team.
This role is a full-time opportunity - Monday through Friday (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.) - NO WEEKENDS
We provide competitive compensation with the potential for a monthly performance bonus.
As a part of our expanding organization, Clear Sight Partners is committed to delivering exceptional vision care. Our team comprises numerous eye care professionals, including optometrists, ophthalmologists, and opticians, dedicated to serving a diverse patient base. We focus on providing comprehensive services ranging from routine eye examinations to advanced surgical procedures, ensuring personalized care for every patient.
Applicants may be required to complete an in-person skills evaluation.
Compensation will be based on experience, with a higher base rate available for certified ophthalmic assistants. Current certification must be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gathering and documenting patient ocular and systemic histories.
- Educating patients on post-operative care, medication protocols, and contact lens maintenance.
- Conducting visual acuity assessments, auto and manifest refractions, and tonometry.
- Measuring pupil size and responsiveness.
- Administering confrontational visual field tests and pachymetry.
- Performing dry eye evaluations.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and sanitized facility.
- Supporting the preparation and execution of in-office procedures.
- Assisting with contact lens fittings and providing guidance on their use.
- At least one year of experience in an optical setting or as an optometrist assistant.
- Experience in ophthalmology is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
