Job Summary

Riverside Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Critical Care Float RN. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various settings within the hospital. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling options available.

We are committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits to our employees. Our estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Preferred) or Associates Degree in Nursing (Preferred). Two years of Hospital RN experience in Critical Care is also required. You will be working under the supervision of a Nurse Manager and Director, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs by applying standards of practice.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care, treatments, and procedures that contribute to patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure safe patient transitions.
  • Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate clinical and quality documentation.
