We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Director to join our team at Jobot. As a Tax Director, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax and consulting services to our closely held business clients, their members/owners, and high-net worth family groups.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting detailed reviews of tax returns, addressing all tax issues collaboratively with clients.
- Planning and overseeing the tax process and related procedures.
- Managing budgeting and staffing aspects of tax projects.
- Cultivating and managing client relationships and expectations in alignment with project requirements.
- Offering timely advice to clients and ensuring client satisfaction through the provision of high-quality services.
- Leading client engagements, supervising team staff, and collaborating closely with internal managers and partners.
- Crafting written tax advice and responses to IRS inquiries.
- Identifying and presenting tax-saving opportunities to clients.
- Actively contributing to client satisfaction by delivering timely services and high-quality work products.
- Demonstrating a profound understanding of tax concepts and staying abreast of evolving tax developments through client assignments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Previous experience with CCH Access or other tax preparation software is essential.
