Qualifications

  • Active membership in the Florida State Bar is required.
  • Experience working with low-income individuals, veterans, or other underserved communities is preferred.
  • A strong awareness and sensitivity to the needs of the populations served is essential.
  • Ability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining professionalism in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively with attorneys, support staff, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to foster constructive relationships with colleagues.
  • Willingness to occasionally extend work hours beyond the standard seven-hour workday, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time, exempt position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $60,000 to $68,000, with potential for a higher salary based on the candidate's experience. The organization provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance for employees, retirement plans, 13 paid holidays, and generous leave policies, starting with 15 days of vacation and 12 days of sick leave annually—promoting a healthy work-life balance.
