We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing routine respiratory care procedures.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Perform diagnostic testing of the cardiac respiratory system as appropriate">
  • Prepare, administer, and monitor treatment modalities and medication delivery">
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate ventilator support">
  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and analyzers">
  • Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to standards and guidelines established by respiratory and regulatory agencies">
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians and other healthcare professionals with respiratory care-related procedures">
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination">
  • Prioritize tasks efficiently, managing time effectively to minimize incidental overtime">
  • Participate in practice projects focused on innovation, efficiency, or improvement in patient care">
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and respiratory-related activities">

Requirements

">

To qualify for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an approved education program and be certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with additional licenses and certifications as required by the state and hospital.

Compensation

">

This position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for bonuses and benefits packages.
