Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist I, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain functional abilities. This is a full-time position in our Occupational Therapy department at Baptist Memorial Health Care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess patients to establish measurable goals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet established goals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and reassess patient functional status.
  • Provide discharge planning information, including patient education and follow-up.
  • Contribute to the development of staff and students.
  • Participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum: Entry-level experience.
  • Licensure, Registration, Certification: OT; BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Special Skills: Basic computer literacy skills.
