Position Overview

We are in search of an Intermediate Systems Architect to become a vital member of our intelligence team. The Systems Architect will deliver engineering and technical assistance to the Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Zero Trust initiatives. The selected candidate will contribute to the specification of ICAM solutions that facilitate Zero Trust security frameworks.

The role involves collaboration with the Zero Trust ICAM team and existing ICAM capability groups to outline requirements, create architectural and design documentation, conduct technology evaluations, and assist in risk management assessments. The candidate is expected to provide industry expertise, as well as knowledge of federal and Department of Defense standards and policies. Responsibilities also include the creation and maintenance of ICAM Zero Trust documentation, such as release notes, installation and user manuals, frameworks, standard operating procedures, and strategic plans in alignment with Zero Trust directives.

Additional responsibilities encompass:

  • Researching and evaluating cloud security environments.
  • Identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services.
  • Defining implementation methodologies and outlining hardware and software requirements.
  • Supporting software developers in tracking requirements, planning sprints, and providing design input and testing assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity. A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree, totaling fifteen years of experience.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in resolving complex system integration challenges.
  • Experience presenting to senior management.
  • Demonstrated engineering experience in requirements analysis, functional analysis, and system architecture development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience collaborating with Software Development, Test Engineering, and System Administration teams to establish requirements-compliant capabilities.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in developing program review documentation.
  • Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Confluence and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO, and CUI Standards.
