Automotive Mechanic

We are seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to join our team at CarMax, the nation's largest retailer of used cars. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every vehicle that leaves our lot is safe and reliable for our customers.

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to solve technical problems and meet production deadlines.
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Adhere to and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, or related fields.
• Knowledge of health and safety compliance and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications in relevant areas (where required by state or local law).
