We are seeking a skilled Speech Writer to join our team at a prestigious college in Chicago. As a Speech Writer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling speeches and presentations for the Chancellor of the college.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Write speeches and presentations for the Chancellor
  • Develop PowerPoints for leadership presentations
  • Collaborate with high-profile individuals, including the White House, the governor of Illinois, and the mayor of Chicago
  • Be available on call at a moment's notice
  • Write short-form content and adapt to new topics quickly
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience writing for seasoned leadership
  • Ability to write for a variety of formats
  • Intelligence to quickly come up to speed on new topics and write about them
  • Appreciation for multi-cultural audiences
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
