Join our team of passionate pet lovers as a Pet Trainer in California As a Pet Trainer, you will be responsible for leading engaging classes for pet parents and their furry friends. You will teach a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and ages, and ensure the safety and comfort of both pets and pet parents.

About the Role:

• Teach classes to a variety of dog breeds, sizes, and ages
• Lead each class with an emphasis on the safety and comfort for pets and pet parents
• Show patience to pet parents when training their very excited puppy
• Guide pets through our NEW Pet Therapy Training Program
• Have a lot of fun
• Build strong bonds with all two-legged and four-legged members of your class

About Your Career:

• Gain experience in a different business unit-from the store to the salon or the Pets Hotel
• Develop your leadership skills as a department manager
• Transfer to any one of our 1600 stores nationwide

The California pay range for this position is from $16.00 to 28.54 per hour. Exact rate of pay will be based on store location, position, and experience level. In no instance will PetSmart pay less than the minimum wage. This position is also eligible for benefits as described at https://www.petsmart.com/careers.
