Join Our Team as a Histology Technician

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team at Nyack Hospital. As a Histology Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing tissue samples for examination by pathologists.

Responsibilities:
  • Embed, cut, stain, and coverlips slides to a quality acceptable to pathologists
  • Perform special stains and immunohistochemical techniques
  • Accession specimens, troubleshoot, and maintain histology equipment
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience highly preferred
  • Licensure required: NYS Clinical Laboratory Technician and/or NYS Histology Technician
