Position Summary: The Mixologist is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service in a high-rise residential community. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of drinks while ensuring a clean and organized bar environment.
Key Responsibilities- Drink Preparation: Craft and serve beverages according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Wine Service: Open and serve wine and champagne bottles with precision.
- Guest Interaction: Attend to guests in the dining area, providing attentive and friendly service.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tables and tools.
- Garnish Preparation: Prepare fresh garnishes to enhance drink presentation.
- Stock Management: Ensure adequate supplies of ice, glassware, and paper products; restock liquor and other supplies as needed.
- Supply Transport: Move supplies to the bar setup area efficiently.
- Glassware Care: Clean and sanitize glassware to maintain hygiene standards.
- Waste Management: Remove soiled items from the bar and dining area promptly.
- Payment Processing: Handle various payment methods and manage cash transactions accurately.
- End-of-Shift Duties: Count cash and complete cashier reports, addressing any discrepancies.
- Security Protocols: Safeguard all liquor, beer, wine, and storage areas.
- Closing Procedures: Complete all closing tasks efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, reporting any incidents to management.
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a clean and professional uniform at all times.
- Confidentiality: Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Guest Relations: Greet and acknowledge all guests, addressing their needs with genuine care.
- Team Collaboration: Foster positive relationships with team members and support collective goals.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality standards in all aspects of service.
The role is situated in a dynamic, high-rise residential setting, often requiring the handling of cash, alcohol, and food in a fast-paced atmosphere.
Physical RequirementsThe following physical demands are essential for this position:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity to follow instructions.
