Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Associate to join our team at HFI-Assure Fertility Partners of Houston. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality laboratory services and supporting our clinical staff in the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Laboratory Support: Assist in the performance of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Maintain Laboratory Records: Accurately maintain logs and clinical data, including patient information and test results.
  • Operate Laboratory Equipment: Safely operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other instruments.
  • Assist with Quality Control: Participate in quality control activities, including the maintenance of quality control records and the performance of quality control tests.
  • Support Clinical Staff: Provide assistance to clinical staff as needed, including preparing patient samples and performing administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Chemistry, or other Applied Science; or Associate degree in Applied Science with 1 year lab experience; or qualifies as a technologist under state (DHR) provisions and regulations.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Two years of related clerical/administrative job experience strongly preferred; One year of experience in a laboratory setting is required; One year of lab experience in human blood testing is required.
