We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Physician to join our team at the Department of Health and Human Services. As a Supervisory Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive preventive and therapeutic healthcare services to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement short and long-range strategic plans to improve healthcare services
- Manage outpatient operational budgets and ensure effective resource allocation
- Perform basic physical assessments and diagnose medical conditions
- Supervise and evaluate the work performance of subordinates
- Advise and counsel employees on work and administrative matters
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States
- At least 1 year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting
- Board Certification in the physician's specialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
