Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized treatment plans to address students' communication needs and goals.
- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with Educators and Families: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology, incorporating new knowledge and techniques into practice.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- California State Licensure: Hold current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience Working with School-Aged Children: Have experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or clinical setting.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families.
