Barista/Cashier

The Barista is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing coffee and tea beverages, and processing transactions in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to guests.
• Retail sales of cigarettes, tobacco products, food, alcohol, and gift items.
• Follow cash handling and exchange procedures for accuracy and thoroughness.
• Conduct accurate sales and transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Assist with stocking product and completing inventory related duties.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Adhere to food safety procedures.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer knowledgeable suggestions about products and specials.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be available to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• POS experience preferred.
• Must be able to complete Nestle (Starbucks) Training Modules.
• Must be able to obtain New Mexico liquor server license & Food Handlers Certificate.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle conflict situations.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to understand procedures and gaming regulations and adhere to them.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

The work environment is indoors in a climate-controlled non-smoking environment.
