La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States MRG Exams Full time

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team at MRG Exams. This is a part-time or full-time position performing Disability Assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

The successful candidate will conduct medical assessments, review behavioral health records, and complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure Web Portal. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations using the findings recorded in the DBQs.

This role focuses solely on performing Disability Assessments without patient treatment or medication prescription. You will assess 4 Veterans per day and work as an Independent Contractor. Our ideal candidate has a Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program, holds an active and unrestricted Psychology license, and meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.

As a Veterans Mental Health Specialist with MRG Exams, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience
  • To work part-time or full-time, with a combination of face-to-face and telehealth assessments
  • Malpractice Insurance covered by MRG
  • Health insurance options available

MRG Exams is a provider of Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and the Veterans Administration. Founded in 1998, we aim to serve our nation's military families and help them achieve work-life balance while making a difference. If you are passionate about serving Veterans and possess the required skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
