Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Dollar General. As a key member of our distribution center, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of our warehouse facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift equipment.
- Verify and audit merchandise to ensure that ordered merchandise has been received and that merchandise is as ordered and not damaged or defective.
- Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
- Replenish pick areas as identified by replenishment reports and various requests for merchandise.
- Fills merchandise orders from stores by selecting and moving merchandise from pick slot to conveyor.
- Load outgoing merchandise from conveyor and/or four-wheel truck into trailer.
- Report damages and/or vendor compliance issues to supervisor.
- Partner with supervisor to resolve problems or discrepancies.
- Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Must pass background check.
- Can lift 65 lbs.
- Must be at least 18+ years old.
