$275,000 - $300,000 annually

Our Internal Medicine Group focuses on preventive care and community health.
We provide a balanced work schedule of 40 hours per week to ensure a healthy work/life balance for our medical professionals.

Position Details:
Qualifications and Licensure:
Medical Degree (MD, DO)
Completion of a family medicine residency and board certification/eligibility
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR)
Basic computer proficiency
California Medical License, DEA Certificate
BLS certification
Employees must maintain their individual certifications and licenses as required by their job functions or by law and provide verification during recertification.
Responsibilities:Review patient records, including allergies, medical issues, medications, and immunization history.
Gather and document information regarding the patient's medical background.
Conduct thorough physical examinations.
Order and interpret various tests, analyses, and diagnostic imaging as necessary based on patient presentation.
Evaluate results and findings to establish accurate diagnoses.
Administer or prescribe treatments as needed.
If necessary, prescribe medications, determining appropriate dosages and schedules based on the patient's condition and allergies.
Discuss potential side effects of medications or immunizations with patients.
Prescribe vaccinations to protect patients from communicable diseases.
Promote health by advising patients on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention methods.
Perform procedures consistent with training.
Refer patients to specialists for additional consultation when appropriate.
Document patient visits, including medical history, physical examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Follow up with patients regarding their progress in high-risk or emergency situations.
Assist in providing triage and treatment services during emergencies, as per protocol.
Physician Schedule:
Works twenty-six Saturdays annually to ensure coverage and is subject to clinic objectives.
Physicians may have one late shift weekly (11 am - 7:30 pm) and alternate Saturdays.
