Key Responsibilities- Set up and weld product according to print specifications, utilizing steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
- Fit and position product weldments with multiple parts, using welding fixtures and jigs as necessary.
- Work from prints and routings, collecting and utilizing statistical process control (SPC) data and graphs.
- Comply with all relevant policies and procedures, including DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental regulations.
- Utilize designated Personal Protective Equipment as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a welding diploma from an accredited school, or six months of industrial welding experience, or a combination of welding education and experience.
- Pass a blueprint reading test and a practical weld test.
- Ability to MIG and TIG weld.
- Medical evaluation to ensure ability to wear a Power Air Purified Respirator (PAPR) while performing job duties.
The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of tasks throughout the day. They will interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees, work in a team environment, and maintain a pattern of regular and predictable attendance.
