Key Responsibilities

The Director of Electronic Health Records will be responsible for:

  1. Leadership Functions: Perform selection, scheduling, training, performance management, and discipline; instill enthusiasm among assigned staff for NSHC's mission, vision, and values.
  2. Budget Management: Demonstrate personal initiative and accountability while managing the program's budget; forecast needs, allocate resources, and take corrective action as necessary.
  3. Clinical Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination services; monitor patient care plans.
  4. Technical Support: Troubleshoot areas of need involving the connection between village and Nome-based operations in regard to electronic health records.
  5. Data Analysis: Analyze data, provide reports, correct deficiencies, and work closely with the electronic health record vendor to maintain an efficient relationship.

This role requires a unique blend of clinical knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership abilities.
