At Wacker Chemie AG, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager II to join our team in Ann Arbor. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and managing project-related demands to ensure timely and successful completion. Your expertise will be essential in managing regional IT projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes managing resources, timelines, and communication among team members and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for IT processes, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure consistency and provide a reference for troubleshooting and training. Additionally, you will develop, schedule, and communicate comprehensive IT tools and applications training plans for end-users, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support. Your role will also involve collecting and documenting detailed business requirements from regional stakeholders, inputting demand requests into ServiceNow, and tracking and monitoring all regional IT demands progress from submission to completion. You will liaise with stakeholders to clarify any ambiguities in demand requests and provide timely updates on their demands. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with IT governance policies and procedures, provide audit support, and implement best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment. If you have a Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of total IT experience in a large or mid-size company and 2+ years of IT Project and Demand experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & PMO: Coordinate project activities, track progress, and manage project-related demands to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • IT Process Management: Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure consistency and provide a reference for troubleshooting and training.
  • User Adoption and Training: Develop, schedule, and communicate comprehensive IT tools and applications training plans for end-users, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support.
  • Regional Demand Coordination: Collect and document detailed business requirements from regional stakeholders, input demand requests into ServiceNow, and track and monitor all regional IT demands progress from submission to completion.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with IT governance policies and procedures, provide audit support, and implement best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of total IT experience in a large or mid-size company and 2+ years of IT Project and Demand experience
