Position Overview:

Job Specifications:

Qualifications:
  • Active MD License
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in PCU/Telemetry
  • Experience with Post Cardiac Catheterization procedures is essential
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
  • Preferred: Experience in Trauma Level I and II settings

Unit Details:
The unit consists of an 8-bed cardiac telemetry area, primarily receiving patients from the emergency department, catheterization lab, and other inpatient units. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 4:1, with the potential to increase to 5:1 based on unit demands. Floating may be required as necessary.

Patient Care Responsibilities:
We are looking for nurses who are adept at managing patients on various drips, including but not limited to amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, nitroglycerin, lasix, and insulin. Timely patient discharge, hourly rounding, and bedside shift reporting are expected practices.
