Position SummaryThe Equipment Cleaning Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our heavy machinery and equipment at Louisiana Recycled Aggregates. This position involves thorough cleaning and preventive maintenance of all company assets to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct on-site cleaning and maintenance of equipment as per supervisor instructions.
- Adhere to all environmental guidelines, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials and recycling where applicable.
- Organize and maintain a tidy work area, including tools and equipment.
- Safeguard the job site by securing tools and equipment daily to mitigate hazards.
- Handle materials with care, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Lift and transport materials, with weights up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Follow safety protocols and report any incidents or concerns to the Site Supervisor and EHS.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to various working conditions.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks based on supervisor directives.
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills.
