We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Surgical ICU at Sentara Healthcare. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to individuals who have undergone open heart surgeries.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients to the ICU
- Conduct regular checks and monitor patients' vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams
- Oversee the overall care of patients and make decisions to ensure their well-being
- 1 year of Intermediate - Stepdown level of care with cardiac knowledge, or 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience
- Diploma RN, associate degree RN, bachelor's degree RN, or master's degree RN
- Virginia RN License or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
- BLS within 90 days of hire and ACLS within 1 year of hire
