RN Lead Telemetry FT Days

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Clinical Lead RN in our Telemetry department. As a Clinical Lead RN, you will be responsible for assisting the nurse manager in coordinating patient care, unit activities, and staff performance on an assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities- Supports, evaluates, prioritizes, and supervises patient care and unit needs during assigned shift.
- Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients.
- Makes patient assignments and delegates unit-specific task assignments to ensure patient care and unit needs are met.
- Evaluates staffing by considering mix of caregivers, patient volumes (current and anticipated), patient acuity, and staff availability.
- Communicates effectively with team members and others during daily interactions.
- Seeks to proactively improve quality of services provided and patient care outcomes.
- Serves as unit champion and resource to staff for quality and patient safety initiatives and issues.
- Provides professional/technical/clinical/coaching support for nursing associates.
- Troubleshoots issues that require immediate resolution and keeps nurse manager informed of circumstances, actions, and outcome.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License.
- Required in area of clinical specialty within 3 years from ANCC or other approved credentialing entity (i.e. critical care: CCRN).
- Must have functioned in an RN role for a minimum of 1 year clinical experience required. 1 year of ICU experience required (prefer Neuro ICU exp).
- Ability to adapt to changes in healthcare technology and support others in transition and learning.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
