The ideal candidate will hold ARRT Board Certification in Radiation Therapy and will join our esteemed organization, SkinCure Oncology, which specializes in superficial radiotherapy (SRT) within the Dermatology sector, emphasizing exceptional quality and customer service.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed radiation doses to designated areas of the body, utilizing advanced radiation therapy equipment in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Candidates will be expected to accurately input data into our systems and adjust equipment settings to regulate dosages effectively.

It is essential to maintain comprehensive records, reports, and files, documenting radiation dosages, equipment configurations, and patient responses.
Regular checks of radiation therapy equipment to ensure optimal functionality are also required.

The successful applicant will observe and comfort patients throughout their treatment sessions, promptly reporting any unusual reactions to the supervising physician or halting equipment operation if unexpected adverse effects arise.

Educating and preparing patients and their families is a key aspect of this role, which includes addressing inquiries, providing physical support, and reinforcing the physician's guidance regarding treatment responses and post-treatment care.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for preparing and assembling necessary equipment, including immobilization, treatment, and protective devices.

Collaborating with physicians, radiation oncologists, and clinical physicists to develop the physical and technical components of radiation treatment plans based on patient conditions and anatomical considerations is vital.

The role also involves training and supervising junior radiotherapy technologists and assisting other healthcare professionals during dosimetry procedures and tumor localization.

This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, and there is no on-call requirement.
