We are seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee internal personnel and operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization and exceptional customer service, which will contribute to achieving branch performance objectives. This role requires active participation in supervisory duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to evaluate their service requirements and provide accurate work estimates.
  • Assign tasks and foster team development.
  • Monitor the open order aging report to ensure timely invoicing for all repairs.
  • Manage scheduling and workflow within the service shop.
  • Confirm that team members possess the necessary qualifications for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant NTTC, ASME/National Board, and CFR regulations.
  • Promote and maintain a high level of product knowledge among staff.
  • Assess employee skills and recommend necessary training.
  • Review and submit requisitions for additional tools as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels in alignment with branch needs.
  • Provide daily reports and perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for departmental personnel.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations or as required for department staff.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and analytical, with proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ethical conduct in all job-related activities.
  • Preferred: 5 years of experience in parts, fleets, and tank trailer service/repair.
  • Preferred: Degree in Operations Management or a related business field.
  • Strong attention to detail in overseeing testing and documentation.
  • Problem-solving skills essential for addressing complex mechanical challenges.
