A rewarding opportunity awaits at Positive Development, a leading provider of in-home care for children and teens with autism. As an Autism Care Specialist, you'll work one-on-one with our clients in their homes, utilizing our innovative developmental approach to care. You'll be supported by our Clinical team as you grow into a valuable resource for children and their families.
About the Role:
We're seeking individuals who share our passion for empowering individuals with autism to thrive. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing play-based care for children with autism, tailored to their unique needs and goals
• Reporting progress and sharing insights with our Clinical team through our custom mobile app
• Building strong relationships with clients' families, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their journey
• Attending clinical lectures and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Contributing to a collaborative and supportive company culture that prioritizes your growth and success
Your Background:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• Experience working with children, preferably in educational or caregiving settings
• A genuine interest in child development and a willingness to learn our developmental approach to care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or state ID (with mileage reimbursement available)
