Job Details

PRN RN - Inpatient Care Center

Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a PRN RN to provide care to terminally ill patients in our Inpatient Care Center.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and coordinate patient/family needs
  • Provide preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit
  • Assess, intervene, and teach to maximize patient comfort and quality of life
  • Supervise LPNs and/or aides in the delivery of patient care
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of six months to one year related experience and/or training
  • Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse
  • Valid Florida State Driver's License
  • CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of current active nursing experience
  • Experience in caring for terminally ill patients or those with life-threatening illnesses
