Position Overview

Our organization is a prominent player in the cannabis sector. We are in search of a seasoned and dynamic CFO to become part of our team. This role is crucial in steering the financial direction and integrity of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management, strategic financial planning, corporate finance, financial auditing, financial modeling, cash flow analysis, mergers and acquisitions, financial software, financial compliance, strategic planning, and risk management. Familiarity with federal and state financial regulations is essential. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct the financial strategy and direction of the organization, ensuring financial integrity and transparency at all times.
2. Formulate and execute strategic financial plans to support the organization's growth and profitability objectives.
3. Oversee all facets of corporate finance, including financial auditing and modeling.
4. Conduct thorough cash flow analysis to ensure the organization's financial health and stability.
5. Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions activities, providing expert financial counsel and guidance.
6. Leverage financial software to optimize financial processes and enhance efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with all federal and state financial regulations.
8. Develop and implement strategic plans to support the organization's goals and objectives.
9. Manage financial risks to safeguard the organization's assets and maintain financial stability.
10. Collaborate closely with other senior leaders to drive the overall strategy and direction of the organization.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO or similar senior financial managerial role.
3. Proven expertise in financial management, strategic financial planning, corporate finance, financial auditing, financial modeling, cash flow analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.
4. Proficiency in financial software and advanced financial modeling tools.
5. Strong understanding of federal and state financial regulations.
6. Exceptional strategic planning abilities, with the capacity to drive financial strategy and direction.
7. Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven track record of managing a team and enhancing financial performance.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
9. Experience in the cannabis manufacturing sector is essential.
10. Strong analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
