Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As an Occupational Health Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with on-site medical staff, workers' compensation personnel, and management to ensure timely and effective care.
- Develop and implement programs to promote employee health and well-being.
- Conduct medical evaluations and provide recommendations for return-to-work plans.

Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in occ health, primary care, urgent care or a related field is preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
