We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the City of Bullhead, AZ. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing of floors and carpets.
- Clean hallways, restrooms, lobbies, and other areas, disinfecting surfaces and equipment as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as scrubbers and buffers.
- Request and replenish supplies as needed.
- Inspect and maintain assigned custodial equipment and small tools.
- Perform basic repairs to buildings and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a 29-hour work week maximum, including some weekends and holidays.
The Custodian will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
