  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and adjustments to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Direct operators and forklift drivers in certain situations, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Quality Control: Verify that all safety devices and equipment are properly secured and functioning correctly, and monitor housekeeping and safety habits of team members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement efforts to eliminate breakdowns and increase equipment reliability, and offer suggestions on equipment setup and work methods to reduce nonconformance.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Experience with precision measuring tools, such as micrometers, dial indicators, and digital calipers, and knowledge of operating standards for assigned equipment.
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with operators, production supervisors, engineers, peers, and other stakeholders, and demonstrate willingness and ability to lead by example.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve equipment-related issues, and participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action investigations.
