Vidant Health is a leading academic medical center in North Carolina, serving as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Our 974-bed flagship hospital provides acute and intermediate care, rehabilitation, and outpatient health services to a 29-county region.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Improvement Specialist to coordinate performance improvement processes and develop implementation plans for center projects/programs. This role requires effective collaboration with medical center staff, monitoring compliance with accrediting agencies, and contributing to clinical research.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the development and implementation of center projects/programs.
  • Makes necessary changes to improve system outcomes.
  • Collaborates effectively with medical center staff.
  • Monitors compliance with accrediting agencies.
  • Contributes to clinical research.

Requirements:

  • BSN or higher required.
  • NC RN licensure required.
  • More than 4 years of prior experience in trauma-related nursing required.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is a Monday-Friday, full-time position with an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plan.
